The location in a domestic area was marvellous and unbeatable. Superior king room with modern decor, coffee, tea and coffee making facilities was ready when we arrived. The personnel were very very nice and exceptional and gave us loads of advice.

Hot and fresh made breakfasts, can't be beat.
The staff is extremely helpful here, the services are very good, and location is perfect right by the restaurant and morning breakfast, and the shore. The rooms are well-equipped with very clean beds and smoke detectors. They serve a lot of meals, the food I tried was good.

Marcus
It has marvellous setting somewhere to stay in the Thurso area. Plus, this hotel is just off the most northerly point of the Scottish mainland, local shop next door, and the Highlands.
-
Michael
Overall very comprehensive breakfast with fruits and both cooked options, for instance and great service.
-
Tim
The location is remote. The units are new-fashioned, spotless with a good shower.

The breakfast is reasonably good and the staff is amazingly great. The superior king room is new-fashioned and has central heating, an iron/ironing board, and a coffee/tea maker. Would love to return and enjoy a great stay.

Overall it was great modern with bath.

Ed
Magnificent setting, just off the sea, which is a wonderful place to watch sunset from, where the chef had obviously gone for quantity rather than quality and the North coast.

Thomas
All in all everything was very good, had a really nice stay for 2 nights. We had fast check in and the rooms were good modern with high ceiling. Loved our stay at the hotel and would recomand it to anyone.
The staff we met were not very welcoming.

Didn't like the staff, some of them were chatty.

The rooms were compact and pet-friendly with private bathroom. The view of the snow-covered hills was great, enjoyed it. Every member of staff was dog friendly and amiable. The venue was in a remote location short walk to Orkney ferry as well as long beautiful sandy beach.
